Beginning in 2019, we had six new grandchildren in the space of five years. It changed our lives in the best way possible.
My daughter-in-law asked me to record some songs that she could play for her two sons in the car when they were driving places. She probably thought I would record cover tunes. That is how the first album - "Silly Grandad" - came into being, with one cover tune and eight new originals.
The grandchildren all loved it! They drove their parents crazy when they insisted on having it play in the car non-stop! And each one of the six had a favorite that they wanted to play on repeat - over and over and over again.
I started work on a second album - "More Silly Grandad" and spent a bit more time on recording and producing than I had on the first album. I am very proud of both albums but I feel that "More Silly Grandad" works better for ALL children and parents - not just my own family.
